portion called East Thrace on the Balkan Peninsula in Southeast Europe. It has an amazing population of about 85 million people. Its average temperatures range around 12–15 °C (54–59 °F) at sea level. Its summers are generally cool for the Mediterranean, but warm for oceanic climates.
